Everyone will remember the moment when the Matildas kicked the final penalty shot to win against France on Saturday Night in Brisbane winning the match on only penalties. After the win over the weekend this means that for the first time ever Australia are now thought to their first semi-finals ever and we will be going up against England.

Everybody thought that Australia was going to lose against France and not go through to the semi-finals but they defied the odds and won on penalties and Australia was parting when Cortnee Vine kicked the winning penalty and helped Australia through to the semi-finals.
